2. Following the bid presented and discussed during CIMA 2008 meeting, the ILSA continue planning the 2011 world microlight championship event in ISRAEL.

4. WEATHER CONDITION At this season we expect comfortable weather with no rainy days. 25-35 degrees with low humidity. Stable winds which starts at late morning and calm down towards the evening.

5. LOCALITY The competition will take place in BEER SHEVA airfield.

6. AIRSPACE The airspace is mostly flat and suitable for out landings in case of emergency.

9. BEER SHEVA airfield Asphalt runway 1280 X 21 m. 200 m ASL. Runway direction 32-14. The airfield operates: gliding club,skydiving club,flying school and maintenance services. Throughout the year this airfield hosts sport aviation events including variety of aerial displays and aerobatics

14. Accommodation Options Camping at the airfield. Hotel in Beer Sheva (10 driving minutes). Gust house and guest rooms in the neighborhood communities.

16. LOGISTICS At this point of time we dont see a way for Microlight plains to fly in. The plains has to be shipped in containers via sea fright to Ashdod port. From there they will be conveyed by tracks to the airfield. The ILSA association will assist by recommending local experienced forwarder that will serve all participants in the incoming process.
