2 College-high school Connection
The BCCC partnerships provide high school students with a complete offering of services encouraging students to set and achieve academic, personal, and career goals. BCCC serves the students of Bergen county to help ensure a smooth transition to higher education.

3 Program Benefits High school juniors and seniors have the opportunity to earn college credit prior to graduation. There are four options available to students. Benefits include: Ability to experience an enhanced and challenging level of learning. Opportunity to get a head start on a college career. Ability to fulfill high school requirements while simultaneously earning college credits, Convenience of classes located in RMHS.

Array of Progams College Experience Credit Replacement Dual Enrollment Bergen Prep All programs are available to high school juniors and seniors.

5 Options for RMHS Dual Enrollment: Students with GPA of 2.5 and school approval take high school classes that simultaneously provide college credit at a reduced tuition rate, as determined by an agreement between the Ridgefield Public Schools and BCCC. Teachers and classes qualify for the program through an application process with BCCC. Bergen Prep: Seniors with a GPA of 2.5 take the Accuplacer test in order to take college classes on the BCCC campus in the afternoon (12:20 – 1:45 PM) to earn college credit at the BCCC full tuition rate. College Experience: Students with GPA of 3.0 take the Accuplacer test in order to qualify for classes. Courses take place outside of the school day to earn college credit at the BCCC full tuition rate.

6 Benefits to our Students and families
RMHS juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school. As a result, college costs can be reduced for parents, students gain knowledge of college level classes, and schedules can be enhanced with college options.
