2. Basic Sentence Structure
All sentences must have…. 1- a subject (who or what is being discussed). 2- a predicate /pred-i-kit/ (has a verb and gives information about the subject). 3- a complete thought or give a message.

• Natural order

12. These sentences are missing a subject and a predicate!
Normally these kinds of fragments are beside a complete sentence. You can fix them by attaching the word group to the sentence it describes.

13. These fragments do not form a complete thought.
You can fix them by deleting the initial word or attaching the incomplete fragment to a sentence.
