Below are some simple instructions on how to use this template:
1. You can change the text in the graphical screen above or in the outline area to the left. 2. There is one default background that is indicated by “ ” .This slide acts as a space or a blank screen, use to clear or blank the screen. If you have a large graphic such as a map you could also use this screen. If you insert a new slide you will get this default background.
3. The first five slides have the other backgrounds for the set. To use more than one of these background types in your presentation highlight the one you wish to use and choose copy from the edit menu. Paste this slide where you want it to appear in your presentation, then change the text on this new slide. By copy/pasting the slide in this manor you will keep the background, text formatting and the customized animation from that slide. By using the copy/paste method you find it saves you time and keeps a consistent look through out your presentation.

6. “But now I am going to Him who sent Me,” Principles:

7. 1. This anticipates Jesus going to the Cross, to the grave, resurrection, and then ascending to the right hand of the Father.

9. Phil 3:14, “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

10. 3. The reason: in His humanity He has an ECS, and is reflecting the glory of the Father. John 17:1

11. 4. He is going from maximum humiliation to maximum glorification.

12. 5. If the disciples had been listening and building their ECS they would have gone along for the ride.

13. 6. But they missed it, and they are disoriented to the Plan of God.

14. “And yet not one of you asks Me,” Principles:

15. 1. Jesus is saying this is their last chance to orient to the Word of God.

16. 2. In the Grace of God He always offers us multiple opportunities to be prepared by Him for future situations.

17. 3. If we do not take advantage of those opportunities, there will be a time when there are no more chances and we will miss out. Rev 2:5; Prov 24:10

18. John 16:5, “But now I (Jesus) am going to Him (God the Father) who sent Me, and yet not one of you (the disciples) asks Me, ‘Where are you going?”

19. Principles: 1. They did not ask Him because their thoughts turn to themselves.

20. 2. Loss of leadership and/or possessions easily causes the mind to enter into self centered and self preservation mode.

21. 3. In self preservation you take your eyes off of Jesus and put them on yourself and your condition or situation.

22. 4. With eyes on self you stop having faith rest in God, His Word and His Plan.

23. 5. When we are afflicted we should never yield ourselves to excessive grief.

24. 6. Rather than the Word and Spirit filling your heart, emotion has taken over, (Emotional Revolt of the Soul).

25. 7. ERS leads us to be disoriented to the Plan of God. 2 Cor 6:12

26. 2 Cor 6:12, “You are not restrained by us, but you are restrained in your own affections (emotions).”

27. 8. Rather than being filled with Bible doctrine and having an ECS you will be filled with misery.

28. 9. Without prior study of Bible doctrine up to the point of crisis, you cannot be prepared for the crisis.

29. You cannot pull a verse out of the air in a disaster and orient to the grace of God if you have not previously learned it.
