Can be well defined or vary according to the situation
Challenging to abide by your personal ethics when you know a negative outcome will result

4. Factors of Personal Ethics
Family
Ex: be respectful of others
Religion
Ex: be trustworthy
Experience
Ex: if fight you’ll get kicked out of school
Teacher
Ex: don’t cheat or you will fail

Copyright laws
Laws regarding intellectual property
You’re stealing from the artist every time you illegally download music from that artist

6. Personal Ethics in The Workplace
Although you might believe your personal ethics are in good faith, you must consider your employer’s ethics as well.
Facebook
A profile picture of you passed out at a friend’s party
Using profanity in your statuses
Inappropriate posts made on your wall
All of which can tremendously affect your job security if your employer should gain access to your page!
