3 Diagnostics Access Initiative
The DAI aims to maximize the effective use of existing diagnostic strategies and to accelerate the development and uptake of improved diagnostic tools. To achieve these outcomes, the DAI stands on Seven Guiding Pillars: Pillar 1: Strengthen advocacy efforts for diagnostics Pillar 2: Improve forecasting for diagnostics Pillar 3: Improve financing for diagnostics deployment Pillar 4: Ensure sustainable pricing for diagnostics Pillar 5: Ensure effective delivery of diagnostics Pillar 6: Strengthen normative and regulatory guidance for diagnostics for strengthen quality Pillar 7: Ensure effective and synergistic coordination between partners to strengthen diagnostics access

4 Draft Statements from the 3rd African Regulatory Forum
The PAHWP, coordinated by the AU-NEPAD Agency, welcomes the Diagnostics Access Initiative, and will work in partnership with WHO and ASLM, to strengthen harmonized normative and regulatory guidance to ensure the quality of diagnostics PAHWP will establish a Resource and Learning Centre to promote pooling and sharing of resources and capacity building through e-learning from a virtual campus
