5 30 years ago, the UN officially declared in the resolution RS/55/282, the international Peace Day to be celebrated by all countries of the world on September 21 of each year. UN: International Peace Day INTRO. Page 1 Until last year this day was celebrated all over the world except in Lebanon. This is why bee Events and PR decided to launch it in LEBANON

14 Mr. Maxime CHAYA was chosen to be the Lebanese Peace Figure for the Peace Day 2013 Mr. CHAYA conquered the « 3 poles », the North pole, the South pole and Mount Everest where he proudly planted the Lebanese flag. 29 Cultural part Artists will be working on the different sites in 2 shifts Award ceremony will be in a typical site From 13th until the 22st Saturday 21 or Sunday 22 Preperation to begin 1st quarter of 2013 by contacting schools and universities and by setting the rules of the competition. Sculpture and Painting are a potential theme for the contest this year; the subject will be the Lebanese patrimony Program Page 3 Artists wil have to present their paintings or sculptures 1st week of September A detailed program for the whole week will be given mid August to the Jury, universities and students
