2 Completed: Window Restoration
Preserving Our Architectural Character While Improving Building Performance Capital Project: Refurbish & repair all stained glass & double-hung windows Cost: Reserve Study est. -$202 K to replace. Restoration was $70 K. Will require more attention over time. Sustainability: Energy-efficiency & preservation Property Committee Leader: Lombardo Bonus: Youth Room Eagle Scout project Glass loose within leading, requiring new cement to seal Stained glass restoration by experienced craftsman Double-hung frames repaired with new wood and putty Cement applied to re-seal glass into leading Old plexiglass covers turned brown, reduced light, retained moisture, ruined frames, deteriorated cement seals Cleaned, scraped and painted each exterior wood frame Warped, buckled panels required removal to studio for rebuilding Original interior wood frames rebuilt and painted after panel re-installation

3 Completed: Chapel Roof Replacement
Last Shingled In 1995, Now Ready For Coming Decades Capital Project: Replace shingle roof above Chapel and All-Purpose room and downspouts on east and south facings Cost: $34 K capital plus tree removal. Related dormer project $14 K Property Committee Leader: Lombardo Removed several layers of old shingles and fiberboard New shingles and downspouts above south Chapel lobby Ice shield and new shingles installed above Chapel and All-Purpose room Old fiberboard greatly increased time, labor & material removal Broken downspout drainage system rebuilt on East side Large, dead tree overhanging roof was removed In a related project, dormers overlooking area repaired and re-shingled

4 Completed Capital Projects For Safety And Access
Automatic Door Opener, Elevator Signing, New Fire Panel Door Opener: Needed for access by disabled, handicapped and other users - $9 K Property Leader: Hokenson Elevator Signing: Replaced confusing labels – no cost Property Leader: Wussow Coming Soon – Life Safety Panel: Replacement for obsolete panel and software - $17 K Property Leader: Ginger Elevator labeling confused many for a long time. Now reconfigured based on user input. Avoided $5 K cost. Parts and software for existing life safety panel are no longer available. Replacement is mandatory for safety. Automatic door opener on north, parking lot door is one of several access issues being addressed.
