"Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way
"Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?" ~ John 14:5 Faith seeks to know and understand. Encouragement: Believe, v. 1-4 Thomas didn’t understand, so he asked. Genuine questions are not wrong when seeking faith. Heb. 11:6 John 14:6 : Jesus is “… the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God
And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!" ~ John 20:28 Faith is Founded on Evidence. Change! “I will not believe”, v. 25 “Doubting”(?) Thomas Luke 24:38,39; Mark 16:12-14 Doubt can spring from sin. Rm. 1:18 Doubt must be honest and not a cover for unwillingness. Where did Thomas go for help with unbelief? V. 26

And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!" ~ John 20:28 Faith is Founded on Evidence. Jesus gives Thomas just what he asked for; before he asks again V. 25; v. 27 The Resurrection of Jesus Thomas was convinced! Here is the evidence for Faith! John 20:30,31

"Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." ~ John 20:29
