Hand in any/all of the assignments that are currently due. Place these items on my desk. Make sure you have your essay and organizer complete. Complete, if not done and hand in! Put your signed eight week report on my desk.
Write down our new objective for our new lesson.
Take out your laptop computer and get signed into Schoology.
Go into your classwork folder and start/continue to work on Friday Night Lights- Lesson 1 or Go into your homework folder and complete Central Idea Tracking Tool- Friday Night Lights.
Once these assignments are complete and submitted, go to your quiz folder and complete Exit Ticket Lesson 1- Friday Night Lights

Read pages 79–84 of “Dreaming of Heroes” from Friday Night Lights (from “There were some kids who came out of Odessa” to “At least for as long as the season lasted”), and use the Central Ideas Tracking Tool to trace the development of central ideas in the text. Also, box any unfamiliar words and look up their definitions. Choose the definition that makes the most sense in context, and write a brief definition above or near the word in the text
