3 Weather The weather in Iceland now in March is nice and cool. Iceland has a light festival and Sonar festival in the one month.

4 Flag The meaning of the Iceland flag is that the blue is for the mountains, the white for the ice and the red for fire.

5 Rivers and Mountains The tallest mountain in Iceland is Hvannadals and the smallest one is Trolladyngja. The longest rive in Iceland is Jokulsa and it is 150 km and the smallet is Hivita.

6 Facts The capital of Iceland is Reykjavik. Reykjavik means smoky bay.
Population in Iceland is 337,000 in (2018) The president of Iceland is Guoni Johannesson. Guoni Johannesson is 50 years old. The Vikings found Iceland. The Scandinavians were the first to live in Iceland.

7 Education In Iceland education is free only in primary school.
One to six year olds go to playschool. When they are six to sixteen they are in primary school. In Iceland you can not home school it is the same in the United States.

8 Money In Iceland they use Icelandic kore.
The money was created in 1874. First the Danish had it first until Iceland.

10 National Day Iceland’s national day is on the 17th of June this year.

It is located in southwestern Iceland. It’s on the southern shore Faxa Bay.

12 Famous People There is a lot of famous people in Iceland here are some. Bjarni Tryggvason is Iceland's first astronaut. Robbie Rotten from Lazy Town.

13 Time Difference The time difference between Iceland and Ireland is none. They are the exact same time right now.

14 Map Iceland is located in the Atlantic Ocean and it is located between Greenland and Norway.

15 Animals The national animal of Iceland is the Gyrafalcon. There is a lot of birds in Iceland.
