Metallo-β-lactamases appear to be dimers: homodimers in the case of ELAC (a.k.a. tRNase Z and 3′ tRNase), heterodimers of active and inactive subunits for histone processing (Int11 with Int9) and mRNA processing (CPSF-73 with CPSF-100). The elaborate poly(A) addition machinery is conserved among eukaryotes, but no homologs of the 12 Integrator polypeptides have been found in fungi. (Scheme inspired by Wickens and Gonzalez [2004].)
