3. Radio Procedures 107.31 Visual line of sight aircraft operation
With vision that is unaided by any device other than corrective lenses, the remote pilot in command, the visual observer (if one is used), and the person manipulating the flight control of the small unmanned aircraft system must be able to t see the unmanned aircraft throughout the entire flight in order to:
Know the unmanned aircraft’s location;
Determine the unmanned aircraft’s attitude, altitude, and direction o flight;
Observe the airspace for other air traffic or hazards’ and
Determine that the unmanned aircraft does not endanger the life or property of another.
(b) Throughout the entire flight of the small unmanned aircraft, the ability described in paragraph (a) of this section must be exercised by either;
The remote pilot in command and the person manipulating the flight controls of the small unmanned aircraft system; or
A visual observer

4. Radio Procedures Traffic Advisory Practices
Highly recommended that all radio equipped aircraft transmit/receive on a common frequency
Highly recommended that remote pilots monitor other aircraft identified for the purpose of airport advisories
Three ways to pilots can communicate their objectives
Communication with flight service station (FSS)
Universal communication operator (UNICOM)
Self-announcement broadcast
Many airports have an automated weather, radio check capabilities and airport advisory on a UNICOM system

5. Radio Procedures 107.33 Visual Observer
If a visual observer is used during the aircraft operation , all of the following requirements must be met;
The remote pilot in command, the person manipulating the flight controls of the small unmanned aircraft system, and the visual observer must maintain effective communication with each other at al times.
The remote pilot in command must ensure that the visual observer is able to see the unmanned aircraft in the manner specified in
The remote pilot in command , the person manipulating the flight controls of the small unmanned aircraft system, and the visual observer must coordinated the do the following:
Scan the airspace where the small unmanned aircraft is operating for any potential collision hazard; and
Maintain awareness of the position of the small unmanned aircraft though direct visual observation

Common Traffic Advisory Frequency (CTAF)
Common frequency that is used with non operating control tower
MULTICOM
Frequency 122.9
Used in airports that are non-towered and do not have FSS or UNICOM
Communication with Manned Aircraft
It is not required for unmanned aircraft to communicate with manned aircraft within the vicinity of a non-towered airport
Its is good practice to know the National Aircraft System and recognize traffic patterns, radio procedures, and radio terminology

7. Radio Procedures 107.35 Operation of multiple small unmanned aircraft
A person may not operate or act as a remote pilot in command or visual observer in the operation of more then one unmanned aircraft at the same time.
Carriage of hazardous material
A small unmanned aircraft may not carry hazardous material. For purposes of the section, the term hazardous material defined in 49 CFR

8. Radio Procedures Most non-towered airports UNICOM frequency is 122.8
You should check the chart or chart supplement for the correct frequency
If UNICOM is not used then use MULTICOM 122.9
Remote pilots should not transmit over active aviation frequencies
