So far in AP Psychology We have covered Unit 1 History and Approaches and Unit 2 Biological Bases of Behavior and are currently studying Unit 3 Biological Bases of Behavior. Because the course is very content heavy, we will do various activities to better help the students learn and remember the concepts. Examples include Drawing and labeling the parts of neuron in chalk Building the lobes of the brain and brainstem with play dough Speed Friending Key Psychologists There will the lots of graphic organizers and handouts to help students learn and retain the material. What to expect for the rest of the year
We will be covering the rest of the 14 subfields that make up an introductory course in psychology. Students will be learning the concepts, people, and skills necessary to do well not only in the course but on the AP Exam in May. I am available before school from 7-8 am if your students needs help or has additional questions that we didn’t answer in class. Afternoon help sessions are by appointment only.
