Reinforcement or Punishment? Negative or Positive?
If I don’t get up in a timely manner, say by 5:10… Moxie will start knocking things off my nightstand… Books fall of the floor, I get up. What type of learning is Moxie showing? (What type of conditioning is Moxie using on me?) Operant She has learned that if she knocks something on the floor, I will get up. And if I’m out of bed, I’ll feed her. Reinforcement or Punishment? Negative or Positive? The more I get up in response to her knocking things on the floor, the more she’ll do it.

This momentarily frightens the cats Within a couple seconds, the cats go back to eating. I grind some more coffee and they don’t make any reaction What is the term for this? Habituation
