What Topic we Chose We chose Topic B. We had to:
Link symbolic notation of proper fractions to common area models and linear models( circles, strips, etc.) Link symbolic notation of mixed numbers to common area models( circles, strips, etc) Link reduced form of proper fractions to set models Link symbolic notation of improper fractions to common area models(circles)

About our Game Our game was created to help kids our age learn in not only an effective way, but also a fun and entertaining way. We use many popular characters from other games to make our game something that kids will never want to stop playing. We have each played multiple math games, and written down what we like from them. We got the things that we enjoyed best, and combined them into one enormous, magical, great fraction game.

The Interface We wanted our game to be something that boys and girls could enjoy playing. We wanted colors that popped, but not so much that boys thought it was too girly and unmanly. We also thought about how our game would look in different forms/styles.We came up with this: ught

Level 1 Level 1 is based on a character named Bubbles. Bubbles says a fraction, and you are supposed to find the fraction in a circle form. You then pop the correct bubble, causing Bubbles to become happy. In this level, we were supposed to link proper fractions to common area models, which we did, because Bubbles says a fraction, and you find what it looks like in the circle from (bubble).

Level 2 We used Gir, a robot alien from a popular tv show as our main character in this level. Gir tells you a mixed number, and you are to put the correct display of the mixed number into the UFO. In level 2, we were supposed to link mixed numbers with circle forms. We did do this, as you can see in the picture.

Level 3 In level 3, our assignment was to display fractions that can be reduced to simplest form. We did this, as shown in the picture. In this level, we used a character we made called Hoops. Hoops is a basketball who says a fraction that can be reduced. You shoot the correct ball into the hoop.

Level 4- The Boss Level 4 is the hardest level of all- The BOSS LEVEL. It features John "Soap" Mactavish from Call of Duty. In this level, Soap says an improper fraction. You are to find the mixed number form on one the frag grenades and shoot it with Soap's airsoft gun. But be careful- if the correct grenade hits the ground, everything explodes, deleting all of your past levels' work. In level 4, you are supposed to link improper fractions to area models, which is what we have done with the grenades.
