2 Key Messages A vibrant research culture and sense of community needs spaces that are inviting, flexible and encourage passing encounters Not all spaces are the same, and not all postgraduates or postgraduate communities are the same Using data and evidence to support decisions with space is not an easy task and careful navigation of stakeholder interests and university priorities is required
