Today’s workshop When sharing learning support information in groups, respect the child by respecting their information: seek consent to share personal information OR share information in a way that does not identify individuals

At your tables: Task #1 Where do you sit on the continuum of willingness to share your personal information? I had my name taken off the Electoral Roll I have an open Facebook page

Think about… What are the benefits you get from sharing your information? What are the risks of sharing it? What different issues arise when: an adult makes decisions about sharing their own information a child or young person has their information shared by somebody else?

Respect the person, respect their information

Seek help immediately if a child or young person is at risk

Set up a protocol before sharing information in a group
