2 Careers The school careers office is situated next to bright beginnings You have access to: An Independent careers advisor – talk to bev in careers and she can sort this out Csw career planner – (link on the careers page; see careers if you need more help with this) Support with cv, personal statement (tutors and careers), apprenticeship information

3 University Full time degree - UCAS Full-time foundation degrees - UCAS
Part-time foundation degrees: apply directly to the uni or college offering the course

4 Study aboard – America, Germany, china, Australia

5 Gap year You will Need to save money before you go
You can travel with specialist companies (information in careers)

6 Apprenticeships What’s an apprenticeship?
It`s a real job, with real training, meaning you can earn while you learn and gain the necessary skills and professional competencies in your chosen career Levels Advanced – Level 3 (equivalent to 2 a levels) Higher – level 4,5,6,7 (Foundation degree or higher) Degree – level 6,7 (bachelor’s or masters degree)

7 Apprenticeships Some companies ( E.g. jaguar) offer level 4,5,6 and apprenticeships For information Visit GOV.UK and search ‘apprenticeships’. You can search by keyword (job role, occupation type or apprenticeship level) and by location. More information on Csw or visit the school careers office

8 employment You will need an up to date Cv and personal statement - the careers department can help with this. There are many job websites and companies which advertise jobs. Also most company websites have a vacancy section.
