10 AmeriCorps VISTA HandsOn manages a team of approximately 20 VISTA members annually (since 2010): Members serve full-time for one year in nonprofits and government agencies, Goal to build capacity within organizations in programmatic infrastructure. (There is a fee involved.) Summer Associates Program for brain-gain activities / summer learning- loss prevention. (There is NO fee involved.) KB; PAUSE FOR QUESTIONS

Academic mentors for grades 3-6 HGP recruits, trains and manages volunteers Provide individual attention in reading, writing, math & science Commit to a minimum of hours during the school week Serve Title I schools in Phoenix, Mesa and the West Valley RO

14 Referral Projects & Skilled Volunteers
Advertise your agency’s self-managed projects on our website! Festivals, Walks or Runs, or other events generally fall in this category. Projects that require a volunteer with specific skill or talent (carpentry, graphic design, artist, technology, etc). TB
