2 Work Items Sync (BJ and Shannon)—By Jan 2015
Discovery (Shannon—TBD: presentation & disc Jan. 2015) PHY interface with MAC: Marco and BJ Peering (March 2015) MAC: Qing and Nov (BJ) Communication period CAP: BJ (Nov 2014) Channel Selection (Nov. 2014: HB Li) CAP: BJ ( By Jan 2015) CFP: Shannon (By Jan 2015) Transmit power control CFP done (Marco) CAP: Qing (Presentation and discussion on Jan 15) Power management (BJ and Qing: Presentation and discussions on Jan 15) Relative positioning: UWB by Igor presentation and discussion on Jan 15) Security (interface to KMP: PHY security BJ March 2015)

3 Work Items Superframe Sync: for more than 90% successful reception
Sync, discovery, peering, CAP, CFP Duration of superframe is fixed and individual fields are fixed with TBD values. Sync: for more than 90% successful reception Size at MAC: 34 slots (32 slots, 2 slot for sync signal length) including transmission. 2 OFDM symbols/slot Discovery: High Mobility MAC (35Bytes, 20msec) –payload size from MAC to PHY Low Mobility MAC (UUID(16bytes)+Human readable field (TBD, 40bytes)

4 Work Items Peering Investigation required: contents of peering and repeering messages, comparison with traditional association process, management of security like authentication, length of peering process – Qing Li High Mobility PHY (0.4 msec (random access preamble), 100 usec (Cyclic prefix, guard interval) in total 0.5msec) –payload size from MAC to PHY Low Mobility An expert, Dr. Lee, from IEEE ai TG will join and explain the related processes during TG8 teleconference and contribute a presentation at the Berlin meeting.

5 Work Items CAP CFP MAC Superframe size
Low Mobility: Approx. a half of the communication period CFP Mandatory Fixed size High Mobility: approx. 60 msec Low Mobility: Approx. a half of the communication. MAC Superframe size BJ to report to Feb. 11 teleconf
