Graduation Requirements
English - 4 years Math years (Alg. 1, Geom, Alg II) Science - 3 years (see program of studies) World Language - 2 years History - US I, US II, & World Cultures PE & Health - 4 years Visual Performing Arts - 1 year (5 credits) 21st Century Life & Careers, Career Tech Ed. - 1 year (5 credits) Financial Literacy - 1/2 year (2.5 credits) Must be proficient on one of the graduation assessment requirements (PARCC, PSAT, SAT,ACT, Accuplacer, ASVAB, Portfolio) 130 credits to GRADUATE

130 credits to graduate Academic & Elective classes are worth 5 credits PE & Health are worth 5 credits each Lab sciences are worth 6 credits

LEVELS Honors – Recommended to be a strong student in subject area. Honors classes can be chosen on course selection sheet. Accelerated - College bound-competitive 4 year school College Prep - College bound & vocational-some 4 year colleges, all 2 year colleges and vocational programs Modified – Reinforces & builds upon basic skills Pullout Replacement – Based on CST meetings

Grades in Academic Courses/GPA 2. Strength of Curriculum – Both the amount of course work you complete in high school and the rigor of those courses 3. Summer School Original Credit Firefighting/EMT Applications due to counselor by 6/1 Must pick at least 7 classes now. Schedule will be changed after paperwork is approved. Attendance Students are allowed 4 unexcused absences per semester
Semester 1 - Marking Periods 1 & 2 Semester 2 - Marking Periods 3 & 4 Anytime a student arrives after the school day has begun or leaves before the end of the school day, it will be considered an absence unless accompanied by an excused absence note. The following will excuse an absence: Doctor’s note Funeral/Death in family Court Appearance Written Parental Permission –Limited to one parent note per semester (note may excuse a series of 3 consecutive days absent) College Visit (with a letter from the college – 3 max per year – Juniors and Seniors only!) No Credit Status. Requires a student to attend the LRHSD Credit Completion program to be awarded high school credit for completed courses. Any pupil who exceeds 4 unexcused absences will be on No Credit for single semester courses and any pupil who exceeds 9 unexcused absences will be on No Credit for full year courses. Fall/Winter Sports: Must have earned 30 credits by the end of this year Spring Sports: Must have earned 15 credits by the end of the 1st semester NCAA Division I & II sports require 16 academic units Most Academic courses taken in the Lenape Regional High School District meet the criteria as a core course set forth by the NCAA. Check NCAA information out for yourself online Minimum GPA-2.3 and certain SAT/ACT scores

Seneca Counselors Please submit your online selection sheets by Monday, February 11th! Your school counselor WILL meet with you sometime in the Spring to go over your courses and credits.

Course Changes August 1st 2019 is the last day to request changes in your schedule. This must be done in writing with your parent’s signature. Online will be closed after 2/11/19 There are timelines to drop levels and/or drop a course to a study hall. (January 31- February 7) Only 1 study hall per year is allowed (so you cannot drop a class to a study hall if you already have one!) If you drop a course WP (Withdrawal Passing) or WF (Withdrawal Failing) will appear on transcript. CHOOSE WISELY!!
