ELA:
All Classes will continue reading the novel, Number the Stars. TEST: Wednesday
Students have 10 characters they will have to identify, as well as, multiple choice and short answer comprehension questions. Character notes are in their ELA Journal.
2nd Nine Week Language Skills: correlative conjunctions, reference materials (print and digital), synonyms/antonyms/homophones, comma rules for introductory elements, yes/no, tag questions, and direct address Writing Focus: Informational

WEDNESDAY: Number the Stars Test
THURSDAY:
FRIDAY: We will begin the Writing Performance Assessment and continue next week. (Informational Writing)
Math: This week we will work on dividing decimals. We will begin working on the Unit 3 study guide over multiplication and division on Friday. Students will take the Unit 3 test on Thursday, November 8th.
SCIENCE: We are continuing to learn about earth’s landforms including constructive and destructive processes. Vocabulary Test will be 10/31. County Unit Assessment is tentatively scheduled for November 15th.
SS: We are concluding unit 3 this week including the Great Depression, the New Deal, Duke Ellington, Margaret Mitchell and Jesse Owens. We will wrap up the week covering budgets. Unit Assessment tentatively scheduled for November 1st.
