Reminders
Homework this year is to practice math facts and read daily AND spend time with your family! Additional homework will be given from time to time to study for tests.
Objectives: 
Reading; This week enjoy poetry and Thanksgiving activities that focus on comprehension. Each child will be assigned one stanza of the poem “The First Thanksgiving” to memorize and recite on Friday.
Language: Students will continue to practice synonyms and antonyms; capitalization and punctuation. 
Writing: Students will write poems for Thanksgiving.
Spelling Words: No spelling this week!
Math: We will focus on adding and subtracting numbers with regrouping. We will also review previous learned skills.
Science: Students will study rocks this week.
Please allow your child to bring one or two rocks that would fit in a baggie to school Monday.
Social Studies: We will complete Veteran’s Day and Thanksgiving activities.
Field Trip – Thursday!!! Please make sure your child is on time.
Conference Time: 1:30-2:25
