2 Launch of the land reform The area of agricultural land in Ukraine is
(resolution of Verkhovna Rada on № 563-XII) As of today 5,5 mln. ha Private (not restricted) 10,2 mln. ha State (restricted) 100% 12.9% 23.8% 28 years 63.3% State property 27 mln. ha Private (restricted) The area of agricultural land in Ukraine is 42.7 million ha MINISTRY OF AGRARIAN POLICY AND FOOD OF UKRAINE

3 Preparation of infrastructure for land market
On 23 August, 2017 Government passed a resolution on land use monitoring to ensure implementation of evidence-based land- governance policy State Land Cadastre System was successfully transferred to Blockchain technology Online registration of land parcels was launched New electronic service for online registration of agricultural land lease agreements was launched The Government allocated 1 billion UAH to support farmers Initiated transfer of lands to conglomerated territorial communities

4 Monitoring results – key indicators for land market opening

In comparison with 2015, in 2017 the total amount of irrigated land decreased by 4%, while the drainaged area increased by 2.5% - mainly due to Olevsky, Ovrutsky districts of Zhytomyr region and Novoyadskogo district of Luhansk region In % of the land with irrigation systems was not watered in 128 districts - these are regions of potential investment in irrigated agriculture. Economic effect from introducing an irrigation system in the southern and eastern regions of Ukraine is a triple increase in crop yields.
