What will you do? You get to design your plan for the day.
You must see 3 required sites during the day You can choose from 12 museums around the national mall. Most are free and open to the public. Certain museums require timed tickets, others require you to pay. Details of each museum will be given out at a later date. You can choose from 3 historic sites including the memorials Your plan must be detailed and approved before the trip.

DETAILS Trip cost: $50 Parent chaperones do not have to pay
You can choose groups from any pod in the 9th grade. Groups organized into small member groups; if your parent is a chaperone, you can pick 2-3 members of your group Arrive at school at 6AM, return at 8:45PM Bring brown bag lunch(es) and $ for the day

Who Can Go? The trip is a PRIVILEGE, not a RIGHT.
Students must maintain positive behavior and academic standards throughout the school year. Teachers and administration have the right to exclude individuals from the trip, based on poor behavior.

Dress Code Policy Dress is comfortable and within school dress code policy Shorts must be appropriate length No spaghetti straps or tank tops No low cut shirts or shirts with inappropriate writing Wear walking shoes or sneakers No clothing with holes or tears

Permission slips & Payment through MYPAYMENTSPLUS
If your parent would like to be a chaperone, there will be an option to indicate that when paying
