1. Highlight the branch you wish to link from

2. Click on the show/hide notes icon

3. Notice how the screen splits and the cursor is inserted in the notes section

4. Type in the text you wish to appear
Type in the text you wish to appear. On the web this will look a bit like a PowerPoint slide so bullet points look best

5. Highlight the text you wish to make into an active link

6. Click the insert hyperlink icon

7. A dialogue box opens,
browse for the file you wish to link to

8. Select the file you wish to link to.

9. Click open

10. The location of the file appears in the hyperlink text box

11. Click OK

12. Notice the text has now become an active hyperlink

13. You can format the text using the normal formatting icons

14. Notice the icon that appears next to the title – this indicates a that a note is attached to the page
