4 Return to the Classics Ideas, education, art techniques, and the way of life of the Ancient Romans and Greeks are the basis for the Renaissance period.

The Renaissance focused on the individual, recognizing personal achievement and abilities. Humans are capable of amazing feats of strength, knowledge, and skill. They deserve to be recognized for their accomplishments!

During the era of the Renaissance, people sought out their own information and did not rely on the “Church” or others of authority to educate them. Geocentric Heliocentric

People believed that they should enjoy life on earth and Still please God and enter Heaven. Emphasis is on the value of material goods and activities that bring immediate pleasure to people.
