Middle School Promotion Requirements

Summer School If you fail 3 or more of your Core Classes (Math, LA, Science, Civics/History), you will be retained. If you fail 1 or 2 Core Classes, you can do our June summer program here on-line in our computer lab. If you are out of town during summer or choose not to come to summer school, you can do it on FLVS/BVIP (but need to be finished with the whole semester by the end of summer).

High School Courses During Middle School
Students can do Grade Forgiveness on a high school credit course if a C, D, or F was earned during middle school. The course will remain on your transcript, but it is not factored in the GPA. Students will take the semester(s) on-line through FLVS or BVIP.

In 8th grade you can take our Digital Information Technology. Driver’s Ed is a one semester, 0.5 credit course. Must be 14 ½ years old.
