Kindertransport was the rescue effort that took place during the 9 months prior to WWII to send nearly 10,000 Jewish children from Nazi Germany, Austria, Czechoslovakia, and Poland to live in foster homes, hostel, schools and farms in the United Kingdom. The children arrived from December 1938 to September 1939 Majority of children never saw their parents again. Kindertransport notes

Interactive Notebook On your notes page draw an illustration depicting any aspect of the Kindertransport. On page 48 Pretend you are a Jewish child of 11 or 12 in 1938 Nazi Germany who is preparing to be shipped off to the United Kingdom on your own.
