Student Learning Outcome−SLO
It is the action to be performed by the learner at the end of the session. It should be logically stated with an action verb at the beginning. Three components of an objective are: behaviour (performance), condition and criteria (standard).

SLOs/ILOs (Objectives):
To construct SLOs (objectives), Bloom’s taxonomy of action verbs can be looked at. Objectives should be:

At he end of the lesson, students will explain two causes of the Civil War. By the end of the lesson, students will provide a one page critique of one day in a Vietnam War soldier’s diary. SMART
