2 Not using a turn signal Using the wrong turn signal Steve was following Mary as she leads him toward their destination. Suddenly, Mary turned right, not giving Steve enough time to turn. Steve has now lost Mary. Steve was following behind Mary as she leads him toward their destination. Mar turned on her right turn signal, but turned left. Steve has now lost Mary. Transitions are your turn signals! Your reader is following you and you have to make sure they don’t get lost. John loves eating chocolate. He never eats chocolate cake. John loves chocolate.
