How Does the Type of Light Affect the Growth of a Wisconsin Fast Plant? By: Sam, Matt, Jhonny, and Christian

2 How the Experiment was Conducted
Type of Light: Cell from Control Group was under artificial light and Cell from Experimental Group was under sunlight.

3 Control Variables the amount of soil (to rim of cell)
the amount of fertilizer pellets (3) the amount of seeds (3) the amount of light (24 hours) the type of seed (Wisconsin Fast Plant) the type of fertilizer pellet (slow release mpk) the number of algae squares (1) temperature of water

4 Growth of Wisconsin Fast Plants
Days 13-21 Eg’s height decreased and the Cg almost tripled its height. Day 21-28 Cg and the Eg increased thier height about 10 mm.

7 Sources of Error Snow days winter break, days off of school Weekend
Age of Seeds Heat 1. Snow days were a source of error because we were not here to record data 2. During winter break and days off school it was the same as the snow days and we couldn’t see the changes of the plants 3. We couldn’t see any changes in the plants and record their the height changes 4. The age of the seeds could have stunted the growth of the plants 5. The heat effected the the growth of the plants because at some points the heat was turned off in the school and the school wasn’t the best temp for the plants to grow in

8 Conclusion Since the control group was under direct light it grew better than the experimental one that was under indirect sunlight.

9 Recommendations to Improve Experiment
Don’t water the plants too much because they can over water. Don’t touch the stems because they can break easily. Don’t touch the leafs because the could fall off. Be careful when you are transplanting to another cell.
