Nickname: Acid Bath Murderer Born July 24, 1909 in Stamford, Lincolnshire, England Died August 10, 1949 Married on July 6, 1934 to Beatrice Hamer His wife left him when he was in jail for fraud and she put their baby up for adoption Moved to London in 1936 where he met his first victim Death toll- convicted of 6, claimed he killed 9 (John George Haigh1)
