Christian church government set the example for American civil government. If you believe in God's providence for America, then you must believe in the principles of Congregational government. Conversely, if you believe Congregational government is unbiblical, then you must also believe there is no “Christian” form of civil government or that it should be a monarchy or oligarchy. Is the American form of government no better than communism, fascism, socialism, or an Islamic Republic?
