7 Eminent domain: The government’s power to take personal property to benefit the public

8 Naturalized citizen: A person born in another country who has been granted citizenship in the United States

9 Legislative branch: the branch of government that proposes and makes laws

10 Executive branch: the branch of government that includes the president and the departments that help run the government

11 Judicial branch: the branch of government made up of the national courts
