Who am I? Where do I come from?
Alison Wall START Trade Training Centre Liaison Manager START Trade Training Centre Consortium of 13 schools in partnership with Chisholm TAFE, Frankston campus. TAFE TECHNICAL AND FURTHER EDUCATION Explain the different campuses, including satellite campuses and an overview on types of courses offered at each.

Naranga trade circle program
Students attend Frankston TAFE every Thursday morning 8:30am -12:30pm Students are enrolled in certificate courses Students undertake two semester long programs in two different course areas per year Each semester program equates to approximately 90 nominal hours of VET Two year program for each certificate offered Explain the different levels and their benefits – refer to AQF

Maintain sport, fitness and recreation industry knowledge Organise and complete daily work tasks Work effectively in sport, fitness and recreation environments Explain what a short course is and the benefits of short courses – like a taster, gives a certificate enabling a student to secure employment (casual, p/t etc.) whilst studying f/t courses later? Mention popular courses

Prepare dishes using basic methods of cookery Prepare simple dishes Participate in safe work practices Explain what a short course is and the benefits of short courses – like a taster, gives a certificate enabling a student to secure employment (casual, p/t etc.) whilst studying f/t courses later? Specifically chosen UOCs from the certificate that we feel will benefit student cohort (Life skills & employability) UOCs chosen are those that we feel most likely to be achieved Ideally, students will have experienced four different course areas over two years. Students attend TAFE all day on a Thursday allows for resources to be allocated elsewhere on that day Best chance for your student to complete training Students TAFE experience Confidence Maturity Meeting VCAL program requirements Comfortable/with mates Explain what an apprenticeship and traineeship is. The key benefits. i.e. earn while you learn.
