2 Lesson 4: Finding a Requisition
To find a requisition you can perform the following steps. First, to find a specific requisition, choose Requisition Summary from the Navigator and double-click. Or if you already have a window open, you find it by using the navigator box (typically to the right): Use the arrow buttons to save the functions you use most frequently over to your top ten list.

This displays the “Find Requisitions” window. If you know the requisition number, place the cursor in the Requisition Number field and enter the number. Then click on the Find button to see that particular requisition. The following screen displays:

If you would like to view a list of all the requisitions that you have created, leave the number field blank. Type in your last name in the Preparer field and hit the tab key. Select yourself, click “Ok” and then click the “Find” button once. This displays all of the requisitions that you have created. Please note: If a requisition has reached the “Approved” status, you will not be able to open the requisition. At this point, the requisition is ready to be moved to a purchase order.

To view the requisitions in a variety of ways, you can return to the Find Requisitions screen, and note that you can select Headers, Lines, or Distributions in the Results box in the lower right corner.

6 Lesson 4: Finding a Requisition
If you choose headers (the default value), you can see a list of all the header information (Approval Status) contained in the requisition(s) listed. If you choose lines, you will see a list of all the requisition lines for all the requisition(s) chosen.

7 Lesson 4: Finding a Requisition
The Distribution selection displays the Requisition Distributions Summary screen. This screen shows what account has been assigned to each requisition line.
