Three presentations were made:

Submissions presented technical requirements for a wireless network carrying high quality A/V content over WLAN in either HOME or PRODUCTION (TV Studio)
These requirements, which are derived from use cases, are well recognized in a CE context,  include reliable delivery of broadcast and multicast frames, time synchronization, and hooks for DRM support.

MIMO-OFDM Beamforming for Improved Channel Estimation in n WLAN ( wng-mimo-ofdm-beamforming.ppt)
What happens to channel estimation when BF is incorporated?
Can we design BF such that the equivalent channel after BF, are still ‘smooth’ over subcarriers?
Yes: interpolation and smoothing, good performance
No: single-subcarrier-based CE, performance degradation

M-WLAN:A Layer-3 solution for Mesh Networking ( wng-m-wlan-layer-3-solution-to-mesh-networking.ppt)
Designed and implemented M-WLAN (Multi-Hop WLAN)
Constructed a Mesh Network a/b/g standard was used L-2 function was left unchanged.
Evaluated the performance of M-WLAN in a test-bed.
Presented capability of M-WLAN possible solution to upgrade the performance.
