TEC Communcations is Cisco certified in Unified Communications and IP Contact Centers. TEC’s customers often have limited IT resources and budgets, yet they increasingly demand the same unified communications capabilities that larger businesses enjoy. Challenge TEC standardized on Cisco Business Edition 6000 as its on-premises unified communications solution for customers. Given the flexibility and customization supported by Cisco Business Edition 6000, each customer implementation can be unique. TEC wanted to jumpstart the configuration process and streamline delivering solutions that met each customer’s specific requirements. That’s when TEC learned about the Configure-to-Order Portal through its distributor Ingram Micro. Solution Using Cisco CTOP to TEC was able to access skill of Cisco distribution partners and provide customer configuration data to its distributor through a secure portal.
