“The mission of CACH to educate and mobilize the community and coordinate services to prevent and reduce homelessness in the Capital Region.” Vision Statement: The vision of CACH is that every family and individual in the Capital area has access to safe, affordable housing and the skills and resources necessary to maintain life in that housing.

Remove barriers to receiving services
Continue to seek interagency cooperation to help maximize efficiency in our efforts. Improve access to available homeless services by increasing awareness among the homeless population Additional information of Project Homeless Connect: Health Screening/Dental/Flu Shots/Glucose Screening Childcare/Pet Care/Housing Meals and Food Distribution Connection to Social Security Hair Cuts/Massages Mental Health Connections/Drug and Alcohol Referrals Connection to Public Welfare

HOMELESS CENSUS 24 hour Point in Time – 445 persons
35 unsheltered. 290 adults & 120 children in shelters. 64 unaccompanied students (minors) homeless staying with friends or other acquaintances. 1,600 -1,800 experience homelessness annually. HOMELESS CENSUS
