Relative Location: Located in Southeast Asia and borders the South China Sea.

4. Physical Characteristics
Fansipan, highest mountain in Vietnam. Located in North Vietnam, near the border with China.
Mekong Delta, dense jungle and small tributaries. Located in South Vietnam.
Red River, runs through hills and mountains before ending at the Gulf of Tonkin. Located in North Vietnam.

Buddhist temple – Over 50% of the country practices Buddhism.

Fishing, large and small boats along the coastline. Major product exported out of Vietnam.
