The January shoot, scheduled as a CHASA shoot, was changed to a gong shoot due to the rainy weather.
The Arthur Potterill Scoreboard is back in use, thanks to Mark Klipp’s know-how. Members will be able to keep track of their shooting scores throughout the year.

Cost of Shoots
Field Shoot : 50 clays R350 with ammo | R180 without ammo
Trap Shoot : 25 clays R150 with ammo | R50 without ammo
Non Members : R400 per shoot incl. ammo (50) R200 per shoot excl. ammo.
Centre–fire CHASA shoots R50.00 per shoot extra.
Rim–fire CHASA shoots are R20.00 per shoot extra.
Membership fee: R per annum

3. SCHULZ SHOOT : 16 FEBRUARY 2019
The Schulz Shoot will be a shotgun only event this year.
Cost of the shoot is R including Ammo and R excluding.
We cannot handle cash at the range hence please make pre-payment by EFT by Thursday the 14th February.
RSVP to Ralf Schulz by 12 February 2019 to confirm attendance.
This is a closed shoot i.e. Club members and Schulz Attorneys invited guests only.
Start time is 14h00, please meet at the Schulz Farm Workshop at 13h30 to rationalize transport to the range.
Make sure you have all your equipment, as you will have to walk most of the way to individual ranges.
You will be required to sign an indemnity before the start of the event.

4. The recommendation from the committee with regard to membership for the upcoming year is as follows:
R500/annum membership to remain the same.
Due to rising costs of ammo and clays the 50 round shoot cost to be increased to R400 incl. ammo and R200 excl. as from the April 2019 shoot. The below membership suggestion is based on old stock of clays and ammo.
As suggested at the last AGM we should request a 3 shoot contribution when paying subs. Anyone paying a lump sum by the April shoot pays R1550 (R500 plus 3xR350) incl. ammo. Excl. ammo R 1040 (R500 plus 3xR180).
You then have a 3 shoot credit with the club. You may use up the 3 shoot credit during the year until December, after which the unused shoots / funds are forfeited.

5. Recommendations cont.
You are able to pay off the membership and shoot fees over a 3 month period i.e. April, May, June. Incl. ammo R520 x2 : R510x1. Excl. ammo R350 x 2 : R340 x 1. This means if you attend 3 shoots in a row and pay these amounts your membership will be updated. Alternatively EFT the club over 3 months and the relevant credit will apply.
Anyone not having settled the full fees or not on the payment system will pay guest rates of R450 incl. ammo and R230 excl. ammo per shoot.
Additional Rifle Shoot fees will apply from time to time. Should you only shoot rifle, pay R500/annum with additional fees per shoot as required.
At the 2018 AGM a decision was made that letters of support for firearms applications would only be written for members after having attended 3 shoots in a calendar year. This ties in very well with the recommendations.
