3 How does a virus reproduce?
What is a virus? How does a virus reproduce? A virus is a microscopic parasite which effects living organisms. Have nucleic acid and a protein coat. A virus attaches itself to a host cell, then injects its genetic material into the host cell.

4 Where did it come from? Avert.org says that HIV is identical to SIV which comes from chimpanzees. Then in 1999 researchers concluded that HIV originated from SIV from chimpanzees, because we were eating them for a food source. SIV was converted to HIV in 1920 in the Dominican Republic.

5 How is it contracted? Sexual Activities Needle/Syringe use
Sometimes mother to child in pregnancy. Not common but through blood transfusions. In rare cases being bitten by someone with the disease.

6 Where was the first case of HIV recorded? Was it in the U.S.A?
The first case of HIV was recorded in Kinshasa, Dominican Republic, in when it crossed species. No the first case was not in the U.S it was in the Dominican Republic.

7 What are HIV symptoms? Most of the time you can’t rely on symptoms to tell you if you have HIV/AIDS. Fever/Chills Rash Night Sweats Mouth Ulcers Fatigue Many More

8 What are AIDS symptoms? Rapid weight loss
Recurring fever, or night sweats Diarrhea that las for more than a week Red, brown, pink, or purplish blotches on or under the skin or in the mouth. Memory loss Depression Many more

9 How long can it take to develop AIDS?
Anywhere from 5 to 10 years if you go without medical treatment but also with medical treatment because we don’t have a cure we just have medicine to slow down the process.

10 How many people have died to date worldwide?
More than 39 million people have died since the beginning of HIV/AIDS. In 2014 alone 12,333 died, where last year ,000 people died.

11 How many people today are infected worldwide?
More than 1.1 million people today live and suffer with HIV, and every 1 out of 7 of them don’t even know it.

In ,600 people died from HIV or AIDS and some of them didn’t even know it.

17 Conclusion In conclusion HIV/AIDS is a very serious and very life threatening disease, so we should take precaution don’t have risky sex use a condom, don’t do drugs, and make sure u know your partners HIV/AIDS status.
