Which left you wanting more?
Well here is your chance to fill in that blank!!!

4. Where do I expect you to take me?
You and your classmates will develop four museum exhibits that are centered on the four artists we have studied.
Just like any other museum you will need a docent.
Your exhibit will be assessed around four areas:
Presentation and display of the artists works.
Quality of the tour.
Clearly articulated understanding of the connection between the time period and artist and their work.(Essentially connecting the zeigeist of the Harlem Renaissance to the spirit of the artist.
Clearly articulated connection to themes that have emerged through your research of the artist and our contemporary lives.

5. Skill 1:
Learners will create and construct an exhibit that demonstrates an inherent focus on the ATL : research as students select and arrange appropriate works to present in their exhibit.

6. Skill 2:
Learners will comment through a balanced and thoughtful review of the their research through their docent. The docent will synthesize the research and help visitors develop an understanding of the artist. The targeted focus on the ATL : communication should be apparent.

Learners will analyze and interpret the works through their historical context to identify themes and trends. Learners will also draw conclusions around the connection between the two.
