AFLAC is our carrier for the enrollment of pre-tax insurance benefits out of your paycheck on an annual basis. Serviced by Steele Benefits (Mike Blink)
This benefit begins with enrollment in November, with effective dates of coverage going from January 1 through December 31 annually.

11. HSBT Health/Dental/VISION
HSBT (Hoosier School Benefit Trust) an organization of cooperative schools where all members contribute money to have health and dental insurance coverage.
PLANS and levels are on BGCS website.
Money (premium) comes out of paycheck 24 times/year.
HSBT Wellness Center has no co-pay for office visits and all preventative care is free! HWY37 and Southport location, Speedway and Washington Street exit on 465!!

12. Insurances
Life Insurance ($100,000 TERM) no cash value if you leave or retire but the school corporation always holds this for you with each new contract!
LTD (Long-term disability) school corporation always holds this policy for you in case of a problem.

13. Licensing and Certifications
You are responsible for your license and renewal. We give a reminder but the continuing education, growth points and certifications are up to you. Please work with your building principal to know your requirements!
Background check and a $24.90 charge will happen at each new renewal time.
