Newsletter Tel: Wednesday, 4th July 2018 Dear Parents/Carers Your child’s School Report will be sent home with your child this Friday, 6th July We will then be holding an informal Parents' Open Evening next Monday 9th July 2018 between 3.30pm to 5.30pm. Instead of the usual appointment slots, you can drop in at any time between the above times. Class teachers will be available in class rooms, should you wish to discuss your child’s report or any aspects of your child’s learning and you will also have the opportunity to look at your child’s work. We hope this will be more convenient at this time of year and cut down on the waiting time to see teachers. Thank you for your continued support. Year 6 SAT results will arrive with school on Tuesday 10th July These will be sent home with your child in a sealed envelope. Good Luck Year 1 will be going on their class trip to St Annes on Tuesday 10th July please make sure children arrive at school by 8.15am to register. UNIFORM The deadline for ordering uniform to be delivered before the summer break has now passed. Anyone who has ordered will be notified as soon as the stock arrives. There is still the option to order your uniform but delivery will not be until after we return to school in September. Our sports day is being held on Thursday 12th July. The children will participate in a range of activities Could you kindly send children in their PE kits and ensure they have a hat and suncream in case this lovely sunny weather continues. Drop off and collection Please can all parents ensure they stay with their children in the playground until the bell sounds for the start of school. And also note children need to be collected at 3.20pm. If for any reason someone other than yourselves is collecting your children kindly make the school aware. Thank you

Homework Reminder Fun Day
Don’t forget your child will have homework everyday, please help us to help them reach their highest potential by making sure they so their homework. This allows their bodies to relax and prepare for the next busy day. Please support us by trying to ensure children go to bed at a reasonable hour and are in school by 8.45am each morning. Attendance Attendance for 25/06/18 – 29/06/18 was 96.5%, we hit our target as a school of 96%. Lets aim for 100% in the last few weeks before summer break!!!! Late Arrivals - 25 sessions Absences – 58 sessions lost Fun Day We are holding a fun day on Wednesday 18th July. There will be a bouncy castle, chocolate fountain and many more activities. Please bring some pennies! Are you receiving texts from us? Please make sure we have your up-to-date mobile phone number. Not only do we need it to contact you in an emergency, we send lots of information and reminders to our main contact by text. Family Learning Dear Parents. We will be holding an important session for parents of KS2 children on PREVENT, looking at how to keep children safe from radicalisation and extremism.
