47 forests are over 1000 ha, they make up 24% ( ha) of the total forested area.
Five forests of these are FSC certified and make up 72%, all publicly owned.
State forests ( ha),
Bornholm (1.969ha), Århus (1.516 ha), Herning (1.754 ha), Ålborg (1.252 ha).
Only 2 forests under 100 ha are FSC certified.
