Necessary due to the large number of organisms in the world – makes it easier to manage – like our wardrobe.
Every single living thing must fit into one of these groups. Kingdoms!

3. The Protista Single celled or simple organisms which have a nucleus
Are found anywhere that water is present – ponds, lakes ,oceans, damp soil etc.

4. Protista Amoeba is an organism which belongs to the Protista Kingdom!
Lives at the bottom of freshwater ponds and streams
About 1 mm in diameter
Eats protists, plants and animals material is absorbed form the food vaculoe into the cytoplasm
Endoplasm moves out to the pseudopodia to help it to move around
It lives in freshwater habitats!

5. How could you avoid this?
Amoeboid diseases
it causes a disease called amoeba dysentery: severe diarrhoea, cramps and intestine ulcers.
How could you avoid this?
In tropical countries it is the leading cause of child and infant death.
The most common cause is drinking contaminated water.

Cell membrane Allows the diffusion of gases in and out of the cell.
