Responding to Texts Background Information on the event (1-2 paragraphs) For each text you need to explain how effective it is in communicating ideas, information and perspectives. -How have the objects/images/text been positioned to draw your attention? (What is the salient feature?) -How has the text been positioned? Is it the appropriate size and font? Does it compliment the images? -How has the choice of colour assisted in communicating the ideas/information/perspectives? E.g. Is there a black and white background contrasted with bright texts? -Does your chosen text contain all the necessary information to promote an event to the public? Is the text promoting or denouncing the event?
